[EDITOR’S NOTE:  Our apologies to Rick Monroe and the band for not getting this article posted prior to their release dates and CMA Fest shows.]

TLG/Virgin recording artists Rick Monroe & The Hitmen continue their bold venture into uncharted territory with their latest album, SIX GUN SOUL, and their latest single, “Which Way Is Home”–tracks that are finding homes on non-commercial to commercial country stations from coast to coast. Referred to and said to be possessing the same fervor as “an Americana AC/DC” by renowned music critic Lee Zimmerman, the group holds steadfast to their compass of authenticity as they navigate format constraints with their signature poly-jam-orous “Blue Jean Rock” sound that is neither country nor rock, but somewhere in between.

With well over 811,000 streams captured on Spotify alone for the 11 tracks on SIX GUN SOUL thus far, Rick Monroe & The Hitmen are pleased to release the official music video for “Which Way Is Home,” available now on most music video services and providers.

The band dropped their video offering as they headed into CMA week in Nashville (June 6 – 9), also known as “Country Music’s Biggest Party,” where they appeared for autograph signings at CMAFest’s Fan Fair X at both the Roper Apparel (one of the group’s many brand sponsors) and Nashville Universe booths, a rooftop performance at the Nashville Universe showcase to be held at Teddy’s Tavern, do an Instagram Takeover for the media outlet Country Note and host the television music video show “Country Fix.”

ABOUT RICK MONROE & THE HITMEN:  World-class entertainers Rick Monroe & The Hitmen have no desire to trace the trail of every trend. Instead, they serve up a “poly-jam-orous” recipe they call “Blue Jean Rock”–artistically organic, and spiced with heavy blend of their musical influences to reflect country sensibilities with a rock and roll beat. For fans, it fits like a favorite pair of jeans that never goes out of style—it’s both comfortable and classic.

As a result, the group has shared the stage with a diverse array of artists, from Queensrӱche and Lynyrd Skynyrd to Dwight Yoakam and Eric Church (to name a few). Monroe has performed in every U.S. state and 17 countries, including performances for the USO, AFE, played in Vietnam for VOA (Voice of America), and former Soviet President, Mikhail Gorbachev.

Rick Monroe & The Hitmen have built a solid legion of fans across the globe and recently surpassed 4.7 MILLION logged views on YouTube and over 1.8 MILLION captured streams without the benefit of ever appearing on a core editorial playlist.
